There three models to chose from:
The GeoXH handheld provides real-time subfoot (<30 cm) accuracy with the internal antenna, and decimeter (10 cm) accuracy with an optional Zephyr™ external antenna. Because high accuracy positions are available in real-time, you can track down buried and hidden assets with ease, and excavate cables and pipes without wasted effort or risk of damage to nearby assets. Back-office data processing is eliminated, streamlining asset inventories and as-built mapping jobs.
A high performance, submeter GPS receiver combined with a rugged handheld computer, the GeoXT handheld is optimized to provide reliable location data, when and where you need it. With EVEREST multipath rejection technology onboard, the GeoXT handheld delivers consistent submeter real-time and postprocessed accuracy, so you know your GIS has the information that others can depend on.
Because the GPS receiver and antenna are built into the handheld computer, it's never been easier to use GPS in your application. Use the integrated SBAS receiver to get WAAS, EGNOS, or MSAS corrections, or use the integrated Bluetooth® wireless technology to connect to a Trimble GeoBeacon™ receiver to reliably navigate back to assets, or to record new data to keep your GIS up to the minute. With a GeoXM handheld, your crews will collect reliable 1 to 3 meter GPS data for your GIS, relocating assets with confidence and fulfilling work orders efficiently.
The GeoExplorer CE handhelds come 520 MHz processor, 128 MB RAM, and 1 GB of onboard storage running the most advanced operating system available—Microsoft® Windows Mobile Version 6. Windows Mobile is the industry standard open platform for mobile devices, so you can choose a software solution to match your workflow, whether off-the-shelf or purpose built.
There's plenty of storage space for all your GIS data, and with a Secure Digital (SD) memory card slot, you can add gigabytes of memory for all your maps. And if you need to access the Internet or your organization's secure network to get the most up-to-date data, it's no problem—the GeoExplorer CE handhelds have built-in wireless LAN and Bluetooth®*, so you can access information on-the-go. (* Bluetooth and wireless LAN type approvals are country specific. GeoExplorer series handhelds have Bluetooth and wireless LAN approval in the U.S. and EU. For other countries please consult your local Distributor.)
The handhelds feature a powerful 806 MHz processor, 128 MB of RAM, up to 2 GB of Flash storage, Bluetooth® technology wireless connectivity, and a 3.5 inch VGA display. With a variety of configuration options, including cellular modem, wireless LAN, integrated GPS, digital camera, and laser bar code scanner, the Trimble Nomad series provides a range of all-in-one solutions for field data collection and inspection activities.
The GPS Pathfinder ProXRT receiver brings Trimble H-Star technology to the field in real time; just connect to a real-time correction source and you can collect decimeter (10 cm) to subfoot (30 cm) positions in the field. Simply use a wireless link to your local VRS™ network, or set up your own base station for the flexibility to work wherever you need to.
Alternatively, OmniSTAR HP can be used to achieve real-time decimeter accuracy. The OmniSTAR antenna is integrated so there's no need to carry any extra equipment, just purchase a subscription and wait for the over the air corrections. The GPS Pathfinder ProXRT receiver is also capable of using the OmniSTAR XP (20 cm accuracy) and VBS (instantaneous submeter accuracy) services.
Installing the GLONASS option on your GPS Pathfinder ProXRT receiver increases the number of GNSS satellites that you observe when working in the field. GLONASS improves your ability to maintain lock on enough satellites to keep working when sky visibility becomes limited, letting you work for longer in tough environments. Tracking GLONASS satellites as well as GPS satellites can also improve productivity by reducing the time required to achieve real-time decimeter or subfoot accuracy.
This receiver not only offers a range of positioning technology, but gives you the flexibility to choose your setup options. Team up the ProXRT receiver with your choice of field computer and Trimble software. Choose a pole for added precision or a backpack for your convenience and added comfort.
Bringing together advanced GPS receiver design and a powerful new postprocessing engine, H-Star technology is in a class of its own. Working together with Trimble's TerraSync software, the Trimble® GPScorrect extension for ESRI ArcPad software, or an application built with the GPS Pathfinder Tools Software Development Kit (SDK), the ProXH receiver quickly and efficiently logs the data you need to achieve subfoot accuracy. Back in the office, the GPS Pathfinder Office software or the Trimble GPS Analyst extension for ESRI ArcGIS software guides you through the H-Star correction process and displays the accuracy you've achieved.
With an advanced design and features like EVEREST multipath rejection technology, the ProXT receiver delivers consistent, reliable, submeter accuracy, so you can work under canopy, in urban environments, or wherever accuracy is crucial. If you need to be sure of your accuracy in the field, the integrated SBAS receiver or optional GeoBeacon receiver provides submeter accuracy in real time. And for the very best results, postprocessing is easy with Trimble® GPS Pathfinder Office software or the Trimble GPS Analyst extension for ESRI ArcGIS software.
Just slot the card into your field computer and you're ready to start adding GPS positions to the data you collect. You can use the card with any handheld field computer that has a CompactFlash card slot, including Trimble's own rugged field computers—the Trimble Recon® handheld and the Trimble Ranger handheld.
The GPS Pathfinder XC receiver is fully supported by Trimble's field and office software solutions. You can also choose any off-the-shelf GPS field software, or use the GPS Pathfinder Tools Software Development Kit (SDK) to build an application that's customized to your needs.
The accuracy of differential GPS not only ensures high quality data for your GIS, it also makes locating assets in the field quicker and more accurate. With a GeoBeacon receiver you can navigate directly to the feature, so you'll save time and have confidence that you're inspecting the right asset. Back in the office data processing is streamlined too. Since the data you collected was corrected in real time, you can transfer it directly into your GIS without the need for any further processing.
With a convenient belt clip, the GeoBeacon receiver gives you a totally wearable solution that won't get in your way while you work. And the GeoBeacon receiver has a powerful battery built right in to the housing, so you can work all day in the field. Simply plug in your receiver to re-charge overnight and you're ready to go again the next day. No matter where your work takes you, the ultra-rugged, waterproof GeoBeacon receiver won't let you down.
