Celebrate GIS!

Tomorrow, the world will celebrate GIS!

November 19, 2014 is GIS Day, a day where we may all salute the many benefits provided by the Geospatial community. Be a part of the celebration!  Since 1999, GIS Day events have occurred around the world that are fun, informative, and creative.

Many Geospatial organizations plan outreach events that educate the public about GIS in a very fun and informative way. These events are scheduled all across the United States, and around the globe. If you are a Geospatial professional, please plan to participate in a GIS Day event to help promote the industry. If you are interested in learning more about GIS and how it benefits you and your community, please attend one of the planned events.

You may view this list of registered events to browse GIS Day activities planned for your region.  Then make plans to participate either by attending an event to have fun and learn more about GIS or by offering your experience, knowledge, and skills to help with one of these registered events.

Happy GIS Day!
